The King & Queen County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate the Auxiliary Academy Class 18A on graduating Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The King & Queen County Sheriff’s Office had two deputies graduating, Tyler Pistole and Travis Stratton. From all of us here at the department, we are proud of you guys!

On October 26, 2018, School Resource Officer Wendy Jones graduated from D.A.R.E School. We are proud of her accomplishments and are excited to be able to get a D.A.R.E Program reestablished soon in our schools here in King & Queen County. Great job Deputy Jones!

On May 4, 2018, the King & Queen County Sheriff’s Office had the opportunity to take part in Career Day at Lawson Marriott Elementary School.  Sergeant Hirtz, Deputy Jones and Deputy Shipman had the opportunity  to show and teach the students about Law Enforcement.

We want to thank Lawson Marriott Elementary School for inviting us to participate in Career Day!

D.A.R.E. School Graduation

On April 28, 2018 the King & Queen County Sheriff's Office participated in Drug Take Back Day. Over 73 pounds of prescription drugs were collected. This is 73 pounds of prescriptions and over the counter medications that will not make it onto the streets of King & Queen County to be used in the making of illegal substances or misused.
Special thanks to Deputy Jon-Eric Clark and Investigator Wilson for handling the collection sites.

Pounds Collected at each Location:
Pamunkey Regional Library, 10 pounds were collected
Nick’s Spaghetti & Steak House, 63 pounds were collected.
